Couple's Healings

Well, guys!  I have a new passion:  Couple's Healings. (Don't worry.  I'm still doing individual healings too.)  Here's how it works:  If you choose to do one of these, you and your mate do not come to the office the way you would for an individual healing.  Instead, you each call in from separate locations.  And each of you calls me on a different phone number.  I have my headsets to my landline in one ear and my cell phone headset in the other ear.  I can hear both of you, but you can't hear each other.  The reason for this set-up is so that each person feels safe enough spew out what is bothering them without the other person chiming in, interrupting or disagreeing, which is why most people stop communicating in the first place.  If one person won't quit talking out of turn, i simply set down that headset until it's their turn.
     I start by opening with a prayer to ask our Guides to be with each of us.  I ask the Guides to open our crown chakras for clarity.  I pray that they center us and ground us and help us to leave our busy lives behind to focus on the session.  Then, i ask the Guides who they want me to start with.  Let's say our couple's names are Fred and Martha.  And let's say i am guided to begin with Martha.  Fred can hear me as i ask Martha what topic she would like to bring up.  I ask her to talk about something that upset her in their relationship this week.  She goes off, complaining and ranting about what a jerk Fred was.  Fred can't hear any of this.  Then, i help Martha rewrite the experience as if Fred was the perfect mate in her eyes.  This rewrite is what i tell Fred.  I don't tell him what Martha says is wrong with him.  I tell him what, in her mind, the ideal husband would've done instead of what he actually did in real life.  Fred may have two reactions.  One may be:  "Wow.  Good to know.  I had no idea that that's what she wanted me to do."  And Fred may also go into a rage that goes something like this: "That is not what i said!  Let me tell you what she did!"  Martha hears none of this.  All Martha hears is me guiding Fred until he has a rewrite of the controversial situation and behavior.  That's what i relay to Martha.  Martha might say, "Ok.  That sounds like a good solution."  Or she might blow up and begin defending herself and attacking him.  Fred hears none of this.  The reason for my method is so that we don't waste the whole hour arguing, the way that you may have spent months or years arguing.  Instead, we spend our energy creating what we want our relationships to be like.
     At the end, i ask the Guides to clear out all of the energetic patterns of misunderstanding.  Then, i weave the new threads of communication between you that we created in the session.  I may connect your heart chakras or your soul light, depending on what is needed.
     To schedule one of these, just call Elizabeth at the office, 303 377 1688, and tell her you want to book a Couple's Healing.  She will assign a different phone number to each of you and take credit card info for payment since you won't be coming in person.  Couple's Healings take the normal hour for the same healing fee of $150.

Moving

     For Mother's Day, my daughter was going to help me in the garden, but it's snowing here in Denver and she's still asleep from After Prom last night, so i thought, what better time to write to you about my move?
     I have been rudely and inconsiderately kicked out of our building in Cherry Creek as of May 31st.  I could say that the man down the hall who wants to take over my space is the type that would plow down a rain forest without considering how he might be affecting the lives of any inhabitants there, but i had this dream.  In the dream, he was scared and on the verge of a breakdown, stressing over how he will support his wife and two sons with his business.  So, i can't point the finger at him.  The landlord could've stuck up for me and let me stay.  But, i can't be mad at him either, because when i went to speak to him he told me how i am the perfect, ideal tenant and how he wants me to move upstairs in his building.  Here's how i know not to move upstairs even though he has offered me a great deal:  When i went up there and walked into that space, i just started crying and could not stop.  When this happens, there is a chakra in our systems giving us a clear read: NO! and trying to flush out the offensive energy.  I don't let my brain talk me out of my instinct.  So, i listened to my reaction and told the landlord no thank you, and that it's time for me to go.
     Back in February, as the end of my lease was approaching, i prayed a lot to decide whether i wanted to stay in my healing room or not.  I looked at several places and decided that i didn't see anything better than what i have, so, I decided to stay and then WHAM! SLAM!  Guess not.  I could blame others for what is happening to me or i can see it as the Answer i asked for!  No one said that transitions are smooth.
     Here's how it hit me energetically:  my back went out for a week with pain in the right:  in my style of energy work, the right side of the body represents career.  So, if something turbulent is happening in the career, it can show up in the body on the right.  As soon as i recovered from the back pain, WHAM! I had to have a dental bone and gum graft.  And, guess what side that's on: yep, the right.  The right side of my jaw is so swollen it looks like i've been punched.
     So!  Now for the good part.  I have this belief that for every single bad thing that happens to me due to this Earth plane existence, my Guides and Angels work hard to bring me something equally as good to help me survive it here.  When i found out i had to leave my lovely healing room, i just let it be for a few days and walked and gave it to God and kept my vibration high, trusting that i would be taken care of.  On a walk with Arrow, my dog, i saw a painter i know in the neighborhood walking his dog.  Next thing you know i'm signing a lease in a building that he told me about on that walk.
     Here is the bliss:  There are strange abstract painted unicorns in the stairwell. Really!  There are.  You have to come see.  And when i step outside on the street, i breathe in the energy from the lakes at City Park that i can see from the the sidewalk.  There is TONS of free parking!  The parking lot seems to be bigger than the building, actually.  (Thank you, Denverites for not complaining too much about how hard it has been to park this year in Cherry Creek due to all the construction around us.  I know you've had to run to your sessions from blocks away sometimes.)  More bliss:  The two managers of the building are so excited for me to come there and for all of you to come and go from their building!  They explained to me that they try to keep the energy good between their tenants by having a nice mix of different types of businesses. They called all of my references and interviewed me in their office to make sure i fit into the energy in their building.  In my Cherry Creek building, people keep to themselves, but in the new building, people greet me and help me.  In this building, one of the managers introduced me to a Native American woman in the hallway.  He said, "This is our new tenant, Ariel; she is an energy healer." The woman said, "Ooohhhh," and smiled and nodded and looked at me knowingly.  In my current building they don't know what i do and have nicknamed me "the belly dancer."  Right beside my new office, is a psychic/life coach!  I have sent 3 people to test his skills.  (Gotta spy on my new neighbors, ya know...)  So far, the feedback is that he is spot on and gives really helpful career guidance and homework.  The managers already have my sign ready for me and texted me a photo of it.  It took me 3 months to get my sign in my current building.  And, best of all, one of the managers, Kirby, is building the rooms i need.  He actually drove to my current healing space to see the room lay-outs i have now and then drew up a similar plan in the new space.  Kirby, if you are reading this, thank you, thank you for turning a really bad experience for me into a good one.  In my new building they use all earth-friendly cleaning products and recycled carpet when they need to replace it.
     So, here we go together, on another moving adventure.    Keep coming to 165 Cook St until June 1.  (i don't want to hear that you are sitting down at the new space prematurely in May!)  We will add the new address to the answering machine message on June 1st.  Elizabeth will make sure you know the new address at 1633 Fillmore St. Ste 380  Denver, CO 80206.  (same zip)  My phone is the same:  303 377 1688  And yes, i see how all of the numbers are alike.  So cool.
     Here we go to a happier and more welcoming environment!  My vision is that those of you coming in person set aside a half hour after your healings to walk across the street, sit on a bench by the water, and just give thanks for the healing from your Guides and Angels.  When i first moved to Denver 10 years ago, i would sit at City Park every day and dream that i would build a healing practice here like i had in WV.  And here we are.
